The first meeting of G20 in Rajasthan-

India is hosting the G20 committee. It was inaugurated on 4 December 2022 in Udaipur. Three cities in Rajasthan got the opportunity to organize the G20 with the Government of India. It is a matter of pride for Rajasthan.

Along with Udaipur, and Jodhpur, events were also organized in Jaipur. I got the opportunity to present the history, culture, and art of Rajasthan in front of renowned countries. G20

The working style of G20-

The G20 consists of two parallel tracks. Finance Track and Sherpa Track. On the Sherpa side, the G20 process is coordinated by the Sherpas of the member states who are the personal representatives of the leaders. The finance track is headed by the finance ministers and central bank governors of the member countries.

               Within both the tracks are working groups in which representatives of invited/guest countries and various international organizations participate along with the respective ministries of the members. The Finance track is primarily headed by the Ministry of Finance. These working groups meet regularly throughout the term of each presidency.

     The Sherpas discuss the agenda for the summit while overseeing the negotiations that take place throughout the year. The biggest objective of the G20 is economic cooperation. The total GDP of the countries involved in this is 80 percent of the nations around the world.
